By downloading or using Picture by Me ("the app"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Picture by Me is a photo-coaching app. It uses your camera to take photos, guides you while shooting, and can share a live view of your camera with a nearby phone so someone else can direct the shot.
Photos you take are stored on your device, inside the app, until you delete them or save them to your Photos library. We do not upload, collect, or have access to your photos.
The app needs camera access to work. Live sharing runs directly between two phones over Bluetooth and peer-to-peer Wi-Fi — it does not go through the internet or any server of ours. A live view is only sent to a viewer you approve, and you can end it at any time.
To understand how the app is used and where it can be better, we record anonymous usage events — for example that a photo was taken, that the library was opened, or that a live session was started. These records are not linked to your name or Apple ID, and they never include your photos, the contents of any photo, or anything you type. They are processed on our behalf by PostHog.
Do not use the app to photograph or share images of people without their consent, to break any law, or to harass anyone. You are responsible for the photos you take and share.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features of the app at any time. Features that depend on your device hardware may not be available on every phone.
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, including lost photos. Keep your own backups of anything important.
We may update these Terms. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
